Barcelona Bus Tour

On our first full day in Barcelona we decided to take a bus tour in order to see a lot of the city.  The tour was one of those where you can get on and off the bus as much as you like.  We spent most of the tour on the top, open-air deck of the bus.  The day was warm and sunny, which was perfect.  Will was very well-behaved on the tour.  He amused himself by grabbing our headphones and smiling at pretty girls.  He had two bottles and took a nap as well.  Here are a few pictures from around Barcelona.

La Pedrera, apartment building designed by famous architect Antoni Guadi

View of the city from Parc Guell.

In Parc Guell, my favorite place we visited.  Guadi also built this park which made us feel like we were in Candyland.  We spent a while here and stopped to have lunch at an outdoor cafe.  We could have spent an entire day exploring this park if we had time.

More Parc Guell.

Will by the famous lizard in Parc Guell.  This was a super popular photo spot so it was hard to get a good picture of Will and the lizard without lots of random people in the shot.
Statue of Christopher Columbus looking out in the harbor.  Ferdinand and Isabella are said to have meet Columbus in the Barcelona area when he returned from the New World.
