Will is now 18 months old. Hard to believe he is a year and half! He is getting to be such a big boy. Some things he is into these days:
- Running. Running is his preferred method of getting from place to place.
- Reading Books. Will went through a couple week period where he threw just about every book I tried to read him on the floor after about one sentence. In the last few weeks though he has gotten really into sitting and listening to books. He still finds some books unacceptable and throws on the floor.
- Cars, trucks, airplanes and trains. Will's matchbox cars and toy trains are some of his favorite toys right now. One of his favorite books is about fire trucks, and he likes the Thomas the Train show. If we see a plane, helicopter, truck, or school bus that is pretty exciting. When planes fly over our house he points to them and sometimes waves.
- Climbing. Will has started climbing on top of the coffee table and has gotten on top of the kitchen table a couple of times. He can also go up and down the stairs easily, although sometimes he is tempted to jump down them.
- Will's 18 month check up was yesterday. He had to get one shot, but luckily other than a few brief tears the shot didn't seem to affect him at all. Here are his current stats:
- Height: 34 inches, 89%ile
- Weight: 27 lbs, 6 oz, 70%ile
- Head: 21cm 99%ile
