Will will be six months old on Sunday! He is growing so quickly and learning new things all the time. Here are some updates.
- Will is enjoying baby food. He has had rice cereal, pears, peas, apples, oatmeal, and squash. He doesn't like rice cereal that much, but he loves everything else he has tried!
- Will can sit up for a few minutes at a time before falling over.
- Will slept for over 11 hours the last four nights. I put him to bed between 7:30-8pm and then he slept until 7:15-8am. I am really hoping this means we are about done with 5am feedings!
- Will is not napping that well right now. Recently he has only been taking short 45-60 minute naps twice a day.
- Will likes going for walks in his jogging stroller. I try to take him and Baxter for a 40-60 minute walk every day the weather permits! Sometimes Will falls asleep, but usually he sits straight up and looks around throughout our walk.
- Will is babbling a lot. He will also try to imitate sounds John and I make, which is hilarious. We also spend a lot of time repeating the words Mama and Dad to him as we obviously each want to win that competition.
- One of Will's favorite new games is to knock over his stacking cups. He doesn't know how to stack them himself yet, but he loves to knock them over. He also loves banging his plastic rings against his jumperoo, high-chair, and other toys to make nice loud noises.
