My cousin, Emily, got married in Cleveland last weekend. Will, John, and I traveled to Cleveland Friday morning in order to make it to the rehearsal dinner. We loaded up the car and heading out of town about 10 am to start the five hour drive north. Will handed the drive fairly well, although he needed a lot of entertainment for the last few hours. I could tell he was getting pretty tired, but he would not go to sleep. We arrived in Cleveland a little after three. My parents and my brother were already there, so we let Will crawl around the hotel room while we visited with them. Then we put Will down for a nap while my mom and I went out walking. Unfortunately the nap lasted less than an hour. The rehearsal dinner started at 7 pm. The dinner was on a rooftop terrace of a restaurant. Will enjoyed appetizers of crab stuffing and crackers, but he and John headed back to the hotel before dinner was served (John enjoyed leftovers the next day).

Saturday morning Will had us up bright and early (7:15). Will and I had breakfast with my parents at the hotel, while John enjoyed Friday night's dinner. Then my mom, Will, and I headed to the pool. I decided to mainly stick with the hot tub, while Will and Mimi did the serious swimming. Will managed to get in a good nap before we headed to the wedding at 2pm. As expected, Will thought he needed to add his own special touch to the ceremony by clapping and babbling very loudly so he left during the first scripture reading with John. After the ceremony we were able to get a few quick pictures before Will and his second cousins Xander and Alex had meltdowns. Once back at the hotel Will took a nap while we all attended an informal cocktail party in my Aunt and Uncle's hotel room (thank goodness our monitor worked that far!!). Will woke up and we headed to the reception at a beautiful country club. There Will had fun playing piano with his second cousins, crawling around, and, of course, eating! Will was able to make it through salads, dinner, and dessert that night, much to John's delight.
Sunday morning we enjoyed a little more family time at a breakfast and then we hit the road for home. Will was quite tired Sunday night. I didn't hear a peep out of him from 8pm to 8:30 am! Enjoy the pictures from our weekend!
