10 Months!

Will turned 10 months last Thursday.  I ordered a present for his FIRST birthday a couple days ago.  I can't believe he will be one in less than two months.  Will, however, thinks he is a big kid these days.  He sees a lot of toddlers and preschoolers at our MOMS club events, and he jumps right into the action.  He especially likes standing at a train table that lots of kids have (most of our MOMS club's events are at someone's house) and "playing trains" with the big kids.  Of course, Will thinks playing trains means ripping up train tracks, banging tracks on the table, and chewing on train cars.  I'm sure the big kids love it when he does this to their toys.

Here are a few other updates about Will:
  •  He has six teeth now (four on top, two on the bottom)
  • He feeds himself all his meals.  He will sometimes let me feed him yogurt.
  • Will crawls everywhere.  If I open the door to the backyard to let Baxter out or the garage he crawls over as fast as he can to try to go outside/in the garage.
  • He pulls himself up on everything- the couch, the kitchen chairs, the refrigerator, the dishwasher, beds, the dryer.  He is especially funny when he is by the dishwasher because he can kind of see his reflection and he likes to talk to himself and kiss himself.
  • We have started working on brushing Will's teeth.  He thinks his toothbrush is an awesome toy and grabs it immediately and doesn't let go for a while.
  • Will's favorite game is peek-a-boo.  Even when he is grumpy he can't help smiling!
  • Will has been saying DaDa for a while.  We think he is finally starting to associate DaDa with John.
  • Will loves music and is starting to "dance" (bounce up and down or move his shoulders up and down) when he hears music or my horrible singing.
  • Will claps all the time.  Yesterday on our walk he clapped 5-6 different times.
He is so fun these days.  I can't wait to see what he is doing by the time his birthday arrives!
