Will and I have been busy this month. We have been doing Parent/Child swimming lessons at the Y twice a week. Our last class was this morning. Will definitely became a stronger swimmer during the class, and he is occasionally able to get his head above water on his own. This week swimming lessons were a challenge for me though because Will decided he didn't need anyone to catch him when he jumps into the water. Multiple times he ran away from me and leaped into the pool. I managed to always be close enough to jump in after him and grab him once he was underwater. Luckily he does a good job holding his breath underwater. I think the lifeguard loved us. So basically he thinks he can swim independently, but we still have some work to do to make that a reality.
This week we have also played trains at the bookstore with our MOMS club friends, had playgroup, went to our Little Gym class, and played outside with the neighbors. Tomorrow we don't have any plans during the day, so we will probably take it easy and stick to walking the dog and playing outside.
