On Friday Will turned eight months! Here is what he is up to these days:
- Will loves to eat. He still has 3-4 bottles per day and eats three meals a day. He really likes to feed himself things like fruit, puffs, bread, and hard-boiled egg yolks. I gave him some of my salmon last night and he ate that too (he grabbed some egg yolk, salmon, and peaches all at once.. yum!). He still doesn't quite understand the sippy cup, but we are working on it.
- Will rolls all around the floor if I put him down. He sits up really well, but he prefers to roll around to see what he can find. He can now get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. We keep thinking he is going to crawl, but not yet!
- Today he successfully figured out how to remove a DVD box set (The West Wing) from our TV stand. We will probably have to work on baby-proofing soon.
- Will continues to babble and make a lot of different sounds. He says "mama," "dada," baba," but he doesn't associate these sounds with anyone or anything. He likes to repeat the same sound over and over.
- Will has two teeth that came in about a week after he turned 7 months.
- Will usually sleeps from 8pm-7:20am and takes two naps a day. Each nap is usually 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Will finds himself hilarious. He thinks being difficult while we try to dress him is particularly humorous.
