Spring!

Although it's rainy and gross today, we have had a stretch of nice spring weather recently.  We have been playing outside and enjoying some of the wonderful parks we have here in town.

On Monday we went to a large nature conservatory on the south of town that run by our parks department.  We started in the nature center looking a furs and skulls from local animals.  Will was pretty sure the deer hide and skull were actually from a lion.  The guide got a little long winded for his attention span, but both boys enjoyed running around in the woods and field before and after.

Walking down the path to the nature center.

Looking at skulls and animal footprints.

Charlie was a fan of the magnifying glass.

On Tuesday we walked over to the huge park behind our neighborhood to feed the ducks, play on the playground, and have a picnic with friends.

Yesterday we had a MOMS Club meeting in the morning, so we stayed closer to home that afternoon and threw rocks in the creek across the street.

Thank goodness for the great outdoors!
