On December 27th we headed up to Indiana to celebrate Christmas with my family. Coordinating schedules with two doctors and a pharmacist is almost impossible, so my dad was in and out of the hospital all weekend and Kyle was working all weekend, but we still managed a few hours when we were all together!
Friday night Amy, Kyle, Michael, John, and I went out to dinner. This summer we had drafted teams for the fall season of the reality show The Challenge on MTV. John and I won, so our dinner was free. Michael had to pay for drinks since he finished second and Amy and Kyle had to buy the food. The dinner and drinks were great, the service was terrible (our waiter was crazy).

Saturday we packed the day with Christmas fun. We decorated cookies in the afternoon, had a delicious dinner, and opened gifts. Poor Charlie had to head to bed before the last gifts were opened because he was so exhausted from all the fun!
