Charlie is 8 Months Old!

The last month has been a crazy one for our family!  The boys and I traveled to Hilton Head with John's family, we moved into our new house, and the four of us went to Aruba with my family.  I have lots more to post about our trips, but for now here's what Charlie has been doing at 8 months old.

• About a week after he turned 8 months, Charlie started crawling.  He is now super fast and into everything!  He is always crawling after Will to see what he is doing.
• Last week, Charlie learned to clap.  He especially likes to clap when Will is being crazy.
• Charlie loves to eat.  He eats three meals a day and insists on feeding himself.  His favorite food right now is blueberries.  He also usually has 4 bottles a day.
• Charlie usually takes two naps a day.  One around 9 am and one around 2pm.  He typically sleeps 1-2 hours each time.  At night he often struggles to stay up past 7:15.  He often falls asleep while he has his last bottle of the day.
• On our two trips, Charlie made a lot of progress in the pool.  He will fall into the water from the side or a step.  In Aruba he really liked "swimming" between two people.  He would put his head in the water and kick his feet as he glided from one adult to another.  He does a great job holding his breath under water.  
• In the past two days Charlie has started pulling himself up on furniture and toys.  I think he really wants to walk.
