Will is four months old today! We went to the doctor for his well check up today. Here are his current stats:
Height: 26 1/4 inches 90%ile
Weight: 14lbs, 14oz, 57%ile
Head Circumference: 43 1/2 centimeters, 82%ile
These percentiles are pretty similar to his stats at 2 Months.
Here a few things he is up to these days:
- Will is typically taking one long nap a day. Usually from about 10-1. Then he takes 1-2 other short naps in the afternoon/evening often in his car seat, stroller, or swing.
- Will is drooling a lot (see photo). He also blows lots of spit bubbles.
- Will reaches for and grabs toys, our hands, and (of course) my hair.
- When Baxter comes up to Will, Will smiles and sometimes reaches to touch Baxter
- Will can hold his head up and look around while on his tummy.
- He can grab his feet when he is on his back.

The drooling often suggests teething. Watch for him to start really chewing on toys, and make sure you have some infant tylenol on hand, they often find it quite painful. Xander got his first tooth at 5 months (and 1 week).
